Jolanta

My name is Jolanta and I am a professional harpist based in Essex. I hope you enjoy reading my interview answers and look forward to the opportunity to speak with you about your learning needs.
I teach Harp (both pedal and lever) and Piano.
I have a Master of Music from the Latvian National Academy of Music. In addition I gained an Advanced Instrumental Studies Diploma and Concert Recital Diploma for the Harp from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I also won the Premier Prix prize for the Harp.
I have tutored students of all ages for over 18 years on both the Harp and Piano.
I teach from my home studio. However I can be flexible with the times and can offer daytimes and early evenings.
I am happy teaching just for pleasure or for the ABRSM exam.
I like to tailor my lessons to each students needs, level and style. I can teach for pleasure or exams. It is each student`s choice. I just want people to enjoy their lessons. I can coach for LCM and Trinity exams.

Availability: I usually teach weekdays from 9am until late evening.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages from 5 upwards.

Experience: I trained in Latvia at the Latvian Academy of Music. I was principal Harpist at the Latvian National symphony Orchestra for five years before moving to the UK. I them continued my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) under the famous Harp Professor David Watkins.
