Specialising in A-level Economics tuition for the Edexcel A and AQA exam boards, my student results for the latest academic year 2026 total 100% A* / A and 100% enrollment on BSc/BA courses with past students currently at many top UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and the LSE studying Economics, Finance, Law and Business undergraduate degrees.
I graduated from the London School of Economics with Upper Honours and achieved all A*s at A-level including Economics, and 8 A*s & 1 A at GCSE. I also have received a Bexley borough award for outstanding academic achievement.

Matthew is a very knowledgeable and personable tutor. Before I started sessions with him in Year 12, I was working at a D in economics. With his help, I achieved an A* in my final A-level. I thoroughly enjoyed our sessions together. He managed to break down and explain topics very clearly, while maintaining a fast pace of learning. I ended up getting in touch with Matt after my year 13 mocks which only left him three months to help me improve. Multiple choice was a particular weakness of mine and Matt gave me so much more confidence and explained the reasoning behind my mistakes. In addition he would help me break down where I was going wrong in my essays and identify topics I needed to work on. I highly recommend him, he made such a difference in a very short amount of time - I can’t praise him enough! Just received my result and got an A!
