I ended up getting in touch with Matt after my year 13 mocks which only left him three months to help me improve. Multiple choice was a particular weakness of mine and Matt gave me so much more confidence and explained the reasoning behind my mistakes. In addition he would help me break down where I was going wrong in my essays and identify topics I needed to work on. I highly recommend him, he made such a difference in a very short amount of time - I can’t praise him enough! Just received my result and got an A!

I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough as a tutor. He began working with my daughter just four months before her exams — a point at which many other tutors were unwilling to take on new students. Prior to working with him, my daughter had a tutor who lacked a strong grasp of the content, which left her lacking confidence and clarity. Matthew was the complete opposite — knowledgeable, committed, and deeply invested in her success. He marked all her work, providing personalised and constructive feedback that helped her understand where she was going wrong and, more importantly, how to improve. Under Matthew’s guidance, her confidence grew significantly. She had always struggled with exam questions, but his encouragement and emphasis on regular practice helped her overcome that fear. By the time the exams arrived, she felt far more prepared and self-assured. What truly set Matthew apart was his kindness, approachability, and ability to make lessons engaging. He created an environment where my daughter felt comfortable asking questions and genuinely enjoyed learning. We cannot recommend Matthew highly enough as an economics tutor. When my daughter first started her A-levels, she was convinced she had made the wrong choice with economics.
