Information about Judith
I am a retired (2018) Primary School teacher with many years experience in education. I now do private tutoring with children, run a Forest School session for pre-school children, and am a Drawing & Talking tutor which is a therapeutic intervention programme for children and adults.
As a tutor, I work with children who need specific support or general teaching in all areas of the curriculum, most often English and Maths. Some of the children I work with have specific difficulties or needs, most need a confidence boost. A few 1:1 sessions or ongoing sessions can do wonders to their self esteem and learning. I also have time to talk to parents and careers, to listen to their concerns and to give reassurance and feedback on their childs progress.
I prefer to work from my own home. I charge £5 extra to work at a students home.

Judith has been working with my son for the last 18 months. He started with Judith in reception of primary school when he was missing his early years target for English. He has continued to work with Judith as a top up to his schooling working on reading, writing and phonics. My son has some difficulty in concentrating and school do not have the staff to provide 1:1 so getting Judith on board has really helped to boost his education. Lucas always enjoys his sessions with Judith and is engaged. Judith prepares work that my son will want to complete with lots of games so that the work itself is hidden. Judith is very welcoming to my son and myself into her home and has given my son extra confidence. Anyone would be lucky to have Judith as their tutor she is professional, reliable, organised and welcoming.

Jude has been the answer to all our prayers!!! She is an absolutely wonderful tutor and it often feels like she is part of the family. My 3 boys actually want to work with her!!! I cannot recommend Jude highly enough as she is kind, interesting and able to adapt her tutoring style to each child. One of my children is dyslexic and because of Jude he now likes reading!! Thanks you Jude.
