Information about Judith
I am a retired (2018) Primary School teacher with many years experience in education. I now do private tutoring with children, run a Forest School session for pre-school children, and am a Drawing & Talking tutor which is a therapeutic intervention programme for children and adults.
As a tutor, I work with children who need specific support or general teaching in all areas of the curriculum, most often English and Maths. Some of the children I work with have specific difficulties or needs, most need a confidence boost. A few 1:1 sessions or ongoing sessions can do wonders to their self esteem and learning. I also have time to talk to parents and careers, to listen to their concerns and to give reassurance and feedback on their childs progress.
I prefer to work from my own home. I charge £5 extra to work at a students home.
