Highly experienced within classroom environment and as one to one tutor at GCSE and A level English Literature and Language. Still passionately interested in young people, education and English after nearly 30 years of teaching. Experience as a 6th form tutor with preparation for university entrance interviews, UCAS personal statements and Oxbridge applications. Strong record of excellent results at A Level and GCSE.

Clare has taught my son for a year now, preparing him for GCSE. His confidence has grown and he appreciates her help. She has been very patient with him and always works alongside what he’s studying in school at the time. She is flexible with lesson timings and easy to deal with.
