2015/16
I worked in Loxford Primary School as a Learning support assistant for 6months. Working at Loxford made me grow as a person and developed my confidence as it was incredibly challenging to work with a SEN student considering the extensive amount of attention and care required.
2016
I worked in Academia tuition centre where I tutored up to 6 GCSE students at once. This developed my leadership skills that enabled me to engage my students and assess their work efficiently. It also made me appreciate students as individuals hence developing my interpersonal skills whilst being a proud role model to all my students.
2014
I did two-week work experience at Ilford medical centre where I worked at the reception as well as shadowed doctors. This improved my professionalism and improved my communication skills as I had to hold face-face conversations as well as over the phone.
2014
I undertook a 2-week research work placement at UCL where I was working alongside expert researchers. It was an amazing experience that taught me patience and self-reliance. It also developed my analytical skills as making measurements as small as micro litres were required.
