The lessons I provide are focused on fun and pure enjoyment of playing the trumpet or cornet. I find out what type of music you like and we can play pieces to suit.

Also, if you have your instrument in the box and haven`t played for a while, then I can help you take it up again!

My name is Bridget. I am 32 years old.

I have always been very musical, playing the cornet and trumpet to grade 8 level. I am passionate about making music and want to share this passion with others.

I teach cornet and trumpet from beginner level all the way up to intermediate. I use different techniques to suit the individual. I help with reading and understanding music. Lessons are usually mixed with playing and theory (to save your lips!)

I have one to one teaching experience, having taught Chinese to children. I am a mobile tutor so will come to your home to provide the sessions. I have an up to date DBS check.

Experience: I have enjoyed playing the cornet for 15 years. I busk in Sheffield with my mum who plays the Alto Saxophone. I have played in several bands including Hade Edge Band, Cawthorne Band and I currently play with Ireland Colliery Chesterfield Band. I also enjoy playing the trumpet and regularly attend jazz sessions.
