With over seven years of teaching experience as well as leading psychology in my school I am confident in my ability to support students and to help them excel. The ability to devote time to individual students is something that a classroom full of students does not always allow for. Tutoring allows me to support students and help them to strive and fulfil their goals and to even exceed their expectations. Sociology and psychology are both written subjects that require particular skills in order to be successful, I have the ability to teach students these skills. As a qualified teacher, I also have access to additional resources that I am able to share with students that will support them further. I will establish a plan of action depending on the needs of the individual in order for them to be successful. I have also supported students who are studying the AS/A Level independently out of school by teaching them the whole of the content needed in order to excel and achieve A/A* grades.

I am also available to act as a proof reader for university psychology/sociology assignments. I do this often and I am able to identify areas for improvement in order for students to attain a top grade.

I am currently doing a doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at UCL. The skills that I am learning and developing will allow me to stretch and challenge all my students further. This has also allowed me to develop more advanced essay writing, critical analysis and research skills.

Experience: I am a qualified psychology and sociology teacher specialising in use of the AQA exam board. I have a BSc in Psychology from Goldsmiths University and I have an MSc in Developmental and Educational Psychology from UCL Institute of Education. I also have a PGCE from UCL Institute of Education. I am currently studying on the Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at UCL.

As a year 13 form tutor I have supported numerous students with their university personal statements so I am also available to offer support with this also.

I am also available to act as a proof reader for university psychology/sociology assignments. I WILL NOT WRITE/COMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS ON BEHALF of people.
