Information about Hazel
I am a qualified maths teacher who has been passionate about maths since I was a child.
I enjoy explaining maths and relate it,where possible to things students are interested in.
I have taught students aged 6- 22, some with learning difficulties who need extra help to keep up with their peers and some high fliers who have got a little lost on a rather theoretical topic in Further Mathematics.
Availability: Daytime/Evening Weekdays or Weekends
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have worked in Industry and the Financial Sector as well as in Education.
Have tutored all ages from KS1 to KS5
though mostly GCSE
A (Maths and Further Maths)
Can also help with Science GCSE.

My daughter thinks she’s amazing! Before Hazel my daughter was fearing maths, struggling in top set and lacked confidence. Then along came Hazel and saved the day. Hazel is very friendly with a calming patience and understanding. She taught her lessons at my daughter’s pace where no questions were too silly to ask. My daughter passed her GCSE Maths with a grade 7 and was so so happy - she said she would never of done it without Hazel’s brilliant help. Thank you Hazel - Your a Star!

The site was useful in finding a tutor, and the tutor appeared to be very good. Due to the cancellation of public examinations, we only had two lessons (which is why 4 stars are awarded). I would certainly recommend this tutor as she appeared to be very good.
