Hi
I`m Ian. I`ve been a teacher for over 15 years with experience across KS2/3/4 and working with young people with special needs.
I believe in a friendly, focused and structured approach to tutoring embracing that every person`s needs are unique and thus flexibility is vital. Looking forward to working with you!
Availability: Very flexible. Daytime, Evenings and Weekends availability.

Experience: My teaching career spans many areas and age experiences. Initially I was experienced across the primary curriculum. This mainly involved teaching Year 5 classes but I do have experience in other primary age groups.
I also have experience in the Secondary school sector teaching science, maths, technology and English. This was mainly at KS3 level but I have taught general science and maths at GCSE levels.
I’m have experience teaching in a Pupil Referral Unit. I was also the assistant teacher in charge. I’ve taught maths, science and technology. These subjects were taught mainly in KS3 but also up to GCSE on occasion. I have experience working with children with behaviour, emotional and social issues. I’ve worked with young offenders and young people from troubled backgrounds with the main aim to reintegrate these young people back into mainstream education.
