Lauren

Hi there ! My name is Lauren. I am a diligent, charismatic and caring 22 year old who has had experience tutoring a range of students – in terms of their age and ability.
Through engaging and well structured lesson plans, I strive to encourage and nurture a productive work ethic in my tutees.

Outside of tutoring, I am a keen sportswoman – playing netball and lacrosse throughout school to county level, and captaining [contact detail removed] Women’s 2s Lacrosse Team. This year, I have also taken on the role of [contact detail removed] – a zero-waste store committed to environmental sustainability that I helped to establish last year with a group of like-minded students.

Availability: I’m available Monday - Friday 9.00-11.00; 16.00-18.30.

On the weekends I’m available 9.30-12.30.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: In terms of my tutoring experience, I worked for The Fulham Study for 5 months before coming to university, where I taught a combination of English, Maths and Geography, for children preparing for 7+, 11+, 13+, GCSEs and A-Levels. Outside of The Fulham Study, I have also tutored independently during my university holidays.

I am due to graduate from Durham this summer in Geography (BA). Prior to my degree I also received 3A* at A-Level and 11A* at GCSEs. Outside of academic studies I am a keen sportswoman, having played and captained Durham Women’s 2nd Lacrosse team during my time at Durham.
