I’m passionate about languages - just finished A Levels in French, German and English Language. I achieved grade 8 in French, German and English Language at GCSE, equivalent to an A*. I also got a 9 in English literature.
I’ve previously studied Mandarin to FCSE level, achieving a distinction.
I plan to take a gap year and then go to Edinburgh university to study French and beginner’s Italian.
I love reading and am confident and engaging. I have good communication skills and a lot of experience with children both from working in a public library and from helping with language revision sessions, 1-on-1 extra language support and teaching English lessons to year 9 and year 5 classes at school.
I’m also a youth ambassador for several charities and as part of this have spoken to my MP several times. This has helped me to realise how important communication is, and how to get my point across quickly and concisely.

Availability: All day Monday - Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: - Ran a German support drop in group at school (including 1-on-1 support)
- Taught English Language lessons to year 9, year 5 and nursery
- Helped in a French GCSE speaking support group
- Have experience with looking after children from volunteering with year six students at my school
- A grade 8 in both German and French GCSE
- Work as a library assistant, involving creating and running children’s events
