Hi there!

My name is Gabriel, I`m 25 years old and moved from Spain 8 years ago. I`m a recent BSc & MSc Geology graduate and I`m currently employed by an engineering firm full-time.

I enjoy seeing my students learn new material and develop their skills while I keep building my experience to one day become a university lecturer myself.

Availability: 4:30 pm onwards during weekdays. Weekends fortnightly (Saturdays after 1pm).

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have been tutoring Spanish for over 5 years and have helped my students - both kids and adults- to improve their Spanish skills greatly.

I am fully aware that not everyone learns the same way and not everyone progresses at the same rate, but practice makes good if not perfect. I assimilated that while I was learning English myself before moving to the UK.

Nobody likes to sit in a room 2 hours with a boring book. The handouts and books I provide, achieve both of best worlds by offering a practice-based learning in written and spoken Spanish with a fun and dynamic approach (in the form of games).

Absolute beginners are Welcome!

Having played basketball for nearly 10 years, I coached two teams of 12-year olds towards a school`s championship in Madrid. This taught me to have patience with my young trainees but also to know when and how their attitude needed to be corrected.

I can complement school lessons at any level to help reach higher grades and I also offer conversation only sessions at a reduced price for the ones who want to learn a bit more informal and day-to-day Spanish.
