Outstanding and experienced Head of Sociology. I also teach Key Stage 3 Geography, History and KS4 Religious Studies. I can tutor online (global) and face to face (local).

Availability: I am available after-school, evenings and weekends.

I offer group sessions at a reduced price, contact me if this is of any help.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: Having taught Sociology for fifteen years I have excellent subject knowledge. I am an AQA examiner with expert skills on how to navigate exam questions.
I currently teach to AQA examining board however, I have taught to other boards such as OCR and WJEC.

My lessons are enjoyable and thought provoking. I break down theories, concepts and key terms so they can be easily understood and applied to exam questions. I focus on application skills as it’s a technique most students struggle with. Simplifying exam questions with reference to mark schemes enables learners to understand the success criteria to gain top marks.
