Information about Laura

Experienced, enthusiastic and innovative Science & Maths Tutor

By choosing a teacher with 11 years of experience, a degree in Biochemistry and a researcher background you are saying at loud that you want your children to get A`s in Science and Maths.

Thanks to my experience working as a teacher and being second in charge of the Science Department in a outstanding secondary school in London for 8 year, I have an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum as well as GCSE and A-level examinations. This also provides me with a wide range of different resources, exam preparation materials and information directly from the exam boards.

Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I understand teaching as a way of providing students with a set of tools, skills and methods that they can easily remember and use in a daily basis. Something that make my students enjoy and appreciate the beauty of learning. Whatever kind of child I teach, I will help them to develop their full potential. I will always set high expectations for them and they will know it.

Also, if you are interested in learning Spanish and become part of a over 600 million people speakers community I can help you with that too. I am a native teacher and I have both a vast knowledge of Spanish grammar and a great experience as Spanish teacher. It does not matter if you are either taking your first steps or trying to get your speaking to the next level.

I will set up high expectations for you and I will consistently pursuit them working as a team until you success!

Commitment, hard-working, skillful, enthusiastic and professional are the top criteria for my work.

5/5 Rating

Miss Laura is honestly one of the best teachers I`ve come across. Not only is she extremely passionate about and driven to teach academically, but she has also helped me grow as a person and has been supportive since the beginning with everything. She is very easygoing and generous with resources as well as being great at tailoring her lessons and teaching approach to increase my confidence levels.

Whilst adapting her approach to each topic according to my understanding, she nevertheless keeps structure to the lessons and simplicity in explaining complicated concepts.

Laura is also generous with sharing her vast knowledge in all the sciences so that I understand the bigger picture and manage to grasp concepts easier.

I truly recommend Laura for anyone who is looking for a science tutor as she is one of the best - both personality wise and academically
