Information about Laura
Experienced, enthusiastic and innovative Science & Maths Tutor
By choosing a teacher with 11 years of experience, a degree in Biochemistry and a researcher background you are saying at loud that you want your children to get A`s in Science and Maths.
Thanks to my experience working as a teacher and being second in charge of the Science Department in a outstanding secondary school in London for 8 year, I have an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum as well as GCSE and A-level examinations. This also provides me with a wide range of different resources, exam preparation materials and information directly from the exam boards.
Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I understand teaching as a way of providing students with a set of tools, skills and methods that they can easily remember and use in a daily basis. Something that make my students enjoy and appreciate the beauty of learning. Whatever kind of child I teach, I will help them to develop their full potential. I will always set high expectations for them and they will know it.
Also, if you are interested in learning Spanish and become part of a over 600 million people speakers community I can help you with that too. I am a native teacher and I have both a vast knowledge of Spanish grammar and a great experience as Spanish teacher. It does not matter if you are either taking your first steps or trying to get your speaking to the next level.
I will set up high expectations for you and I will consistently pursuit them working as a team until you success!
Commitment, hard-working, skillful, enthusiastic and professional are the top criteria for my work.

I love science and as a homeschooling mom, it is the subject I kept teaching myself for as long as my son (14yrs) would put up with me. Laura is the person to match my level of enthusiasm for both science and the education of kids, including those that need a bit more encouraging due to being labelled as having learning or behavioural difficulties. Admittedly, she delivers much more fun and engaging lessons than I ever could and manages my son beautifully. He doesn`t view his sessions with Laura as "work", but as "fun" with an inspiring friend. Per my definition: Laura is a natural educator and extraordinary person. Thank you for awaking and nurturing my son`s natural curiosity!

She provides calm reassurance and bespoke learning platforms using a multitude of resources to, engage, support and empower my son throughout his 2 year A’ Level Biology curriculum. Extremely knowledgeable, organised and focused she presents the topic with enthusiasm and professionalism with an excellent way of describing, often difficult concepts making it enjoyable and easier for my son to understand. Punctual, reliable with a cheerful persona that is infectious; she is always happy and willing to go that bit further, even finding time outside her tutor hours, to ensure my son had grasped the subject before moving on. Her belief in my son manifested in him believing in himself and I watched a shy, reserved young man gain confidence and excel putting him in the position of gaining excellent A’ Level results. I have no hesitation in recommending her as a tutor; any student would be lucky to have her.
