Information about Ajay
I am a fully qualified and very experienced maths teacher with a master’s degree and qualified teacher status. I also have an enhanced DBS check.
I offer tuition to students of a wide range of ages and all abilities for a range of courses & exams, including KS2, KS3, 11+, 13+, GCSE, entrance exams and numeracy tests.
All lessons are tailored to the needs of the student. I set (optional) homework at the end of the lesson so that students can consolidate on the learning that has taken place during the lesson. The following lesson I check the homework has been completed successfully and go over any questions that the student found difficult. Near exam time, the lessons are focussed on exam techniques and practice papers.
Availability: I am available most weekdays.

Experience: I have 34 years experience of teaching mathematics in a secondary school followed by 5 years of experience of providing individualised private tutoring. I am currently tutoring 12 students on a regular basis. Most of my clients come from recommendations by satisfied customers.

Ajay is an excellent tutor. My child has spoken very highly of her lessons, expressing great understanding of his classes and patience. In the short time approx 2months , of being with Ayay, it seems like a very positive outcome with great results as demonstrated by the latest results card. Ajay also, frequently communicates progress, which is great to enable all the support needed. Would highly recommend!

Ajay is a very knowledgeable maths teacher and he has prepared my son for Statistics GCSE within a year and a half, even though he only had one lesson per week. He is very friendly, and explains the topics well. I would highly recommend him.

I like the way Ajay asks what topics my son wants to cover in his sessions a few days before hand - this approach works well for A levels revision. Ajay is always well prepared, professional and personable.
