I have a BA and an MA in European Studies covering studies in German and French language as well as the culture and society of these countries.

I speak German and French fluently - German to near-native level - and have lived in Europe for a total of 8 years utilising these and other languages.

I am a fully qualified teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, having gained my PGCE in 2005.

Availability: I am available to teach older pupils and adults on a one-to-one basis by arrangement.

I offer grammar, comprehension and conversation practice in German, French and English.

Experience: I have taught English as a foreign language in France, Germany and Prague and have offered private tuition to students in the UK.

I taught my daughter German to GCSE level outside her normal school curriculum. She took the GCSE as a private candidate and achieved A*. She then went on to study German A level at school and obtained A* in Summer 2017.
