I am enthusiastic and energetic. I spend a lot of time reading about new scientific discoveries and ideas in order to keep up to date with my subject knowledge. In my spare time I play the flute and am a qualified archery leader with GNAS.
Availability: Most evenings and weekends. I can also do some daytime slots but this varies according to my school timetable. I am happy to negotiate the best time for any student.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: 20 years teaching Science (primarily Biology and Chemistry) and maths in secondary schools in the Guildford area.
A further 4 years of experience in prep schools, delivering science lessons to all years (3-8) and in particular preparing children for scholarship exams; including for Eton, Harrow and Winchester.
Throughout my entire career I have also had private students to tutor at all levels from age 8 to 18.
