👤; About me:
My name is Ajit, and I am a physics graduate from the University of Warwick. I am a certified tutor with over 5000 hours of experience, including 2000+ hours online. I take a patient, structured, and results-driven approach, and I’ve helped students across all abilities exceed their targets.

I currently tutor the following subjects across all UK exam boards:
- GCSE Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
- A-Level Maths, Physics

I primarily offer online tuition, although I can cater for home visits should you require it.

I work with students weekly until they have completed their final exams, building momentum and confidence over time. My online sessions use a dual-monitor setup, interactive whiteboard, and curated resources – many students now prefer this format over in-person sessions. 🧠; My approach:
I tailor every session to each student’s unique needs. The focus is always on long-term understanding and exam mastery, with two main pillars:
1. Solidifying theory - we identify and close knowledge gaps, using targeted explanations until the content is fully understood.
2. Mastering problem-solving - we work through practice questions and past exam paper questions together, starting from the basics and scaling up to the target level (and often beyond). I provide clear and systematic feedback on where marks are gained or lost, building independence and confidence.

🎓; Qualifications & background:
- Master’s in Physics (1st Class Honours), University of Warwick.
- A-Levels: A*A*A* in Physics, Maths, Chemistry.
- GCSEs: All A*s and As.
- Level 3 Tutor Training Qualification.
- Certified Tutor and registered member of The Tutors’ Association.
- Winner of the J.F. Crump Prize for highest A-level Physics mark in my year.

I also create teaching resources used in UK schools, which I share freely with my tutees.

🎨; Marketing and design:
In addition to tutoring, I also work in marketing — with experience in graphic design, data analysis, and AI applications. This strengthens my ability to create engaging, effective learning materials and adapt lessons to suit a wide range of platforms and learning styles.

🎾; Outside tutoring, I enjoy playing cricket and tennis, and I’m a regular (if unpredictable!) competitor in my local squash league.
