My name is Ajit and I am a Physics graduate from the University of Warwick. I am a certified tutor with over 5000 hours of experience, including more than 2000 hours of online tuition, and have been tutoring regularly for over 10 years. I take a patient and thorough approach, and I’ve helped students of all abilities boost their confidence and achieve or exceed their target grades.

I have a keen interest in all areas of science and maths and aim to pass on both my knowledge and enthusiasm to my tutees. I respond to all enquiries and take pride in maintaining strong, consistent communication with students and parents.
I tutor the following subjects across all exam boards:
- GCSE: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combined Science
- A-Level: Maths, Physics

I tutor both online and in person. Most of my lessons are delivered online using Zoom, a dual-monitor setup, interactive whiteboards, and a bank of tailored resources. Many of my students now prefer online sessions because of how clearly and efficiently we can work through material together.

I also offer face-to-face tuition at your home, depending on availability and distance.

As part of my service, I provide:
- Individualised homework assignments
- Regular progress reports for parents
- Marked assessments and exam-style questions
- Free access to my teaching resources (used in schools across the UK)

I adapt my teaching style to suit each student. My sessions focus on two core areas:
- Theory: We identify gaps in knowledge and cover them thoroughly until the content is fully understood.
- Problem-Solving: I work with the student to break down exam questions, build up from the basics, and progress towards top-tier exam questions. We focus on understanding where marks are gained and lost, and building independence.

Where possible, I aim to tutor weekly until the student completes their final exams, to ensure consistency and momentum — but I am happy to discuss flexible arrangements depending on need.

I have taught a diverse range of abilities and have become very familiar with the stumbling blocks that hold students back - whether it`s poor exam or revision technique, rushing through questions, or not understanding what is being asked. My job is to help them develop the habits, clarity, and confidence needed to overcome these.

I also create teaching resources used by schools across the UK, which I share with my students at no extra cost.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing cricket and tennis, and I’m a regular (if unpredictable!) competitor in my local squash league.

Availability: Weekday evenings after 4pm and Weekends any time.
