I am a fully qualified, graduate teacher of Spanish and am a highly proficient linguist. I have a passion for Spanish and I very much enjoy the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm to my students. I am friendly, patient and caring.
I am very adaptable to the needs, abilities and learning styles of individual students and have successfully taught both highly gifted, aspirational students and students who struggle with language learning. I make good use of a wide variety of teaching techniques and resources to make my lessons varied, stimulating and enjoyable.

Experience: I have 17 years of teaching experience. I have taught at secondary level for three years and at middle school level for over 4 years. At both these educational levels I taught mainly at beginner and intermediate standard. I taught in Adult Education for 4 years where I gained further experience of teaching at beginner and intermediate standard. Over the last seven years I have given private tuition teaching at GCSE, IGCSE, A level, beginner and intermediate levels. From November 2017 to May 2018 I was a voluntary language mentor at Notre Dame High School where I gave speaking practice to students preparing for GCSE and A level orals.
