I have recently finished my BSc (Hons) Sociology degree at the University of Plymouth and am graduating in September 2021 (Predicted Grade: First)! I would love to tutor students on here as I am passionate about helping others to learn and gain confidence in their subjects. At university, I worked in three peer learning roles to support other students as a PALS Leader, PALS Training Co-Facilitator and International Buddy. In these, I ran sessions to help train, mentor, reassure and/or tutor others. I attained the award for highest score on my course in my first and second year at university and will help you in any way I can to succeed in your exams and gain any advice from someone who has been in your position! :)

Availability: In September 2021, I will stop being a Research Assistant and will become an Associate Lecturer (AL). I will be available any day except Mondays!

Experience: At university, I have worked as a Unibuddy Ambassador, PALS Leader, International Buddy, PALS Training Co-Facilitator and Student Ambassador. In addition, I have written articles for my course’s newsletter, the ‘Sociology Gazette’, and blog posts on the Unibuddy platform. I am currently a part-time Research Assistant, in which I am helping to build a website on Word Press to convey the value of Methodological Innovations. A lot of my experience is in peer learning as I supported students in the year below me as a PALS Leader and trained new peer support staff as a PALS Training Co-Facilitator. In my role as International Buddy, I helped international students to settle into university and life in Plymouth.
