Information about Joanne

I have been tutoring for more than nine years and teach with terrifically tailored programmes, identifying your unique learning styles and study skills with a carefully designed questionnaire. I work with your gifts and talents and help to uncover the natural rhythms, patterns and problem-solving abilities of your brilliant brain, and bolster that self-belief to help you believe that you CAN achieve. I teach with positivity, poems and praise and believe in the fun-factor at all times.

Together we will utilise and make revision materials, mind maps, memory games, cue cards, presentations, rhymes, songs and most of all, make sure that there is much love and laughter alongside the learning, at all times! Learning should be a lifelong enjoyable experience and as a teacher I believe in empowering you to identify the tools, techniques, tips and tricks, which allow you to maximise your learning potential and achieve your best...so you can ace every test.

I have a track record (references available) of getting students from E`s and C`s up to A`s in A level Chemistry and have a number of students who have gone on to do veterinary/dentistry/medicine who believed Chemistry to be their barrier and stumbling block to success. However - once you learn Chemistry`s secret laws, it will open it`s hidden doors.

Excellent tutor. Really friendly and very good at explaining complex topics and simplifying them. Was very grateful to find her at such short notice and we get through so much in one lesson! Would definitely recommend

Joanna helped my son with chemistry over the Christmas holiday. She was always punctual and well prepared for each session. Joanna is extremely knowledgable and passionate about sciences. After 4 lessons my son felt confident with the topics. Thank you very much Joanna.
