I am a highly-qualified and experienced examiner and teacher of English with over 10 years of outstanding results at KS2, KS3, KS4 and university level.

Experience: I have a BA first-class honours degree in English Literature, and a Master`s degree at distinction level. I am a fully qualified teacher of English Language and English Literature, and have taught for 8 years in both UK and international schools, where my teaching has consistently been rating as outstanding.

During my teaching career, I have taught students in Year 6 through to Year 13 and, as a result, I have extensive knowledge of the SATs, GCSE and A-level curriculum and examination requirements. I have worked as a GCSE examiner since 2016 and also write GCSE schemes of work for an educational publisher.

I am an experienced TEFL qualified teacher and have helped hundreds of students (both adults and children) with English as an additional language to improve their spoken and written English and prepare for language proficiency examinations.

I have worked as a private English tutor for the last 6 years. During this time, I have helped numerous primary, secondary and university-aged students and adult learners to achieve their goals in English and I have a 100% pass rate record in examinations.

I am also a fully trained SEN teacher and have experience working with students with a range of needs including dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism and ADHD.

I have an up-to-date enhanced DBS (criminal records) certificate.
