I am currently going into my fourth year of studying Spanish and Portuguese at University College London, and am expected to graduate in the summer of 2018 with first class honours. This last year I completed my year abroad, an essential component to any language degree. Through my studies in Barcelona, I really got to grips with the Spanish language and am more confident than ever in my abilities to aid others. Before studying at UCL, I attended Highgate School in north London between 2007-2014, during which I completed both GCSES and A-levels and received excellent grades. I am incredibly responsible, hard-working and organised, qualities which mean I am incredibly dedicated to those that I tutor. I am also very flexible, and able to adapt my tutoring techniques to cater to a wide range of abilities and ages.

Availability: I am available on mondays (morning/early afternoon), on wednesdays/fridays (after school.)

Experience: During my time at UCL, I have been a volunteer for a university-run organisation called `near pears.` In this role, I have been an e-mentor for several secondary-school children a year and have helped and supported them in their run up to a-levels and with their queries about higher education and the university application process. Specifically for students studying Spanish, I also provided online help with homework and past papers. Prior to university, I volunteered for two hours a week at a local primary school, teaching latin to children about to take their 11+. This really helped me develop my teaching skills, and offered me an insight into how best to tutor languages.
