I am an experienced and skilled teacher who has taught in both state primary schools and independent preparatory schools. My teaching has been regarded as consistently outstanding. I also have 10 years experience in private tuition, including SATs, 11+ and Common Entrance, Scholarship and GCSE English preparation.
My husband (also a teacher) and I live in Crowborough with our children and dog, Bella.
Availability: weekends and holidays.

Charlotte helped my daughter a great deal, with both language and maths skills and she gained confidence before starting at a new prep school. Lovely lady and Maia enjoyed her lessons a lot, can highly recommend!

We engaged Charlotte as a tutor for our then 7 year-old son Harry almost a year ago. He was lacking in confidence and felt he was `bottom of the class` even though we knew he was very bright and able. Through Charlotte`s careful and skilful teaching and nurturing, almost immediately Harry`s confidence grew and his attainment at school increased. He moved up three maths and two literacy groups in two terms. Charlotte continues to work with Harry to extend and deepen his learning and he is now a much more confident child who is proud of his achievement. We will continue to have Charlotte tutor Harry for the foreseeable future as this additional learning opportunity is giving him the skills and confidence to continue making fast progress at school.
