Information about Jaime
I am Spanish, but I have lived in several different places (Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, Athens, Mexico City, Montreux, Barcelona and now London), and therefore I am multicultural and have a great ease and flexibilty to adapt my expression to to people of different natures.
I am a university student currently in 2nd Year MEng Biomedical Engineer at Imperial College London. Started a BSc in Biomedical Science, also at Imperial College but changed course after 1 year. My education has given me a strong base of Mathematics and the Natural Sciences, so predominantly I can help most in these subject areas. I did IGCSEs and A-Levels in all the relevant subjects to my degree.
I am currently sitting on a 1st class degree average, and I obtained a 2:1 on my year in Biomedical Science. My A-levels do not reflect complete excellence for the subject area I am currently studying (namely, physics), this is because during my A-levels I was applying for a biology orientated degree, and I had a large volume of work with 6 A-levels, so I had to manage my time wisely in order to make my offer for Biomedical Science. The gap was bridged in the first year of my engineering degree.
Availability: Mainly during term time either evenings during the week (I usually finish class at around 5, except on Wednesdays) or on weekends.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology until IGCSE level (Also have experience in English Lit. and Geography, but tutoring would not be as good quality). But can easily teach A-levels of these if specified the curriculum to revisit that studied in Sixth form.
