Information about Hayley
I have always had a passion for Maths. From a young age, I found I was naturally good at maths and went on to graduate from The University of Reading with a mathematics degree in 2015.
As a tutor, I aim to not only help students understand maths but gain more confidence in their abilities and begin to enjoy the different aspects of Maths.
I understand how difficult maths can appear to be and the pressures which come along with taking exams. My approach to tutoring is to create a low pressure environment where I work with the student going through questions and examples together until they have the confidence to do a particular set of questions by themselves.
Availability: My current working hours are:
Monday to Thursday
15:30 - 21:00
Sunday
8am - 4pm

Experience: I have been tutoring since 2016. I have taught a wide range of ages and abilities including GCSE maths, A level maths and A level further maths.

After only two lessons with Hayley, my son feels so much more confident with his (GCSE) Maths: she`s picked up straight away on his strengths and weaknesses and has explained very clearly the things he didn`t understand. He really enjoys his lessons with Hayley and is even considering doing A Level Maths, if she can continue to tutor him!

My daughter has only been going to have Maths tutoring from Hayley for a few weeks but already I am very impressed. My daughter really enjoys going and feels she is grasping the topic areas covered. Hayley is a friendly and patient tutor and I would highly recommend her.

Hayley has been tutoring both of my children ages 10 and 6 since the summer, the difference she has made to both of them has been wonderful to watch.
We wanted our children to have more confidence and to view Maths as fun, both children absolutely love the time they spend with Hayley each week and I couldn`t recommend her more highly. We have found Hayley to be very professional, prepared and organised and she has built a wonderful rapport with the children. A fantastic tutor that I`m more than happy to recommend.
