Information about Jayne
I am available to teach all aspects of PHOTOGRAPHY to groups or individuals of all ages: SLR, DSLR, black & white, colour, portraiture, street photography, still life, studio lighting, large format, medium format, pinhole photography, darkroom techniques, print-toning, cyanotype, book-binding, editing, portfolio-building, archiving, Photoshop.
Also Photography theory, Art History, Cultural Studies and Exhibition Planning plus ESSAY OR DISSERTATION PROOFREADING.
I have a friendly, easy-going manner and can provide a bespoke service to pupils of all levels and abilities.
Availability: First lesson usually at two weeks notice (with some flexibility).
Essay proofreading service available with 24 hours notice.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I am a fine art photographer specialising in photographic portraiture and `alternative` techniques. My practice is socially-enagaged and community based. I also undertake private commissions.
I have a BA and an MA in Photographic Studies from University of Westminster. I work as an Arts Mentor for The Koestler Trust and have tutored at Westminster Kingsway College (Art & Design Foundation course). I`m also a visiting lecturer at University of Westminster and a photography degree tutor at Open College of the Arts/UCA.
