I am a qualified teacher (PGCE) with a science/ engineering background. I studied physica and mathematics to degree level. I was employed in two full-time roles as science teacher at secondary schools in Birmingham and in Suffolk. I am enthusiastic about my subjects, and committed to encouraging effective learning, building-in interactivity to lessons, and catering to a variety of learning styles and different levels of ability.

Availability: Fridays and weekends

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Four years as a classroom teacher in the 90s, in state secondary schools, teaching physics and science. My current other employment (librarian) also involves teaching.
