Ahmed

Hi, my name is Ahmed, and I am currently working as a junior doctor at Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

I completed my BM BCh Medicine at Hertford College, University of Oxford in 2022. I graduated with First Class Honours (75%) in BA Medical Sciences at Hertford College, University of Oxford in 2016. At school I achieved 13 A*s at GCSE, and at A-level: Chemistry A*, Biology A*, Maths A, French (AS-level) A. I achieved well above average scores in the UKCAT and BMAT, including 5A in section 3. This led me to get 4 university offers.

I have over 1000 hours of tutoring experience, and am due to complete my Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education in May. I therefore know exactly what techniques and resources will help you to succeed in all these hurdles and exams. I am a friendly and calm tutor, and like to make sure that students gain a wider understanding of topics.

Many of my students have gone on to study medicine and related subjects at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as top Russell group UK universities.

Availability: Evenings and weekends.

Experience: Over the past 8 years I have carried out hundreds of hours of tuition covering GCSE Science, A-level Science, BMAT, UCAT, personal statements, mock interviews (panel, MMI and Oxbridge) and supercurricular subjects. Through this I have developed effective teaching strategies and resources for the students.
