I have been married for 25 years and have grown up within a stone`s throw of our current abode in Marlow. We have two children who attended Sir William Borlase and Great Marlow.

Software Engineering has been my day job for 30+ years with mathematics being a fundamental aspect of my work. Mathematics has also been a major part of my life - it could sadly be described as my main hobby ! It`s when the children studied mathematics at school that I discovered a penchant for not just studying mathematics but also for tutoring. It`s something that`s paying off handsomely with the results they achieved at school and now at University.

I`m very well acquainted with the Mathematics A Level syllabus, the GCSE Higher and Foundation revamped 9-1 syllabus, the 11+ entry exam and Engineering BTEC modules. I can also offer help on some of the Open University Mathematics Degree courses.

Availability: I`m pretty full but do have Fridays available after 5 pm. Saturdays are also available.

I understand that the student would be happier to study in their own environment hence I`m happy to travel.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I started with my children, friends` children, adults and co-workers. I then moved on to gaining students via Tutor Hunt plus other tutoring websites.

The levels I`ve tutored have covered all the Key Stage syllabuses, however a majority of my experience is regarding Years 9 to 13. Saying that, I had two children to tutor for the 11+ exams (for entry in 2019) and they both passed.
