Hi, my name is Mia and I am an experienced chemistry, geography, and biology tutor with over 300 hours of face-to-face teaching experience. I am currently a 4th-year medical student, and I achieved A*AA in A-level Geography, Chemistry, and Biology.

I am a friendly and enthusiastic tutor, dedicated to helping students boost their confidence and reach their academic potential. I am skilled at breaking down complex concepts into clear, accessible explanations that make learning easier and more enjoyable.

I am excited to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can deepen their understanding, grow in confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. I foster collaboration by involving students in shaping lesson content and providing plenty of opportunities for them to ask questions to strengthen their understanding.

A session with me will typically include:

Starter activity – Revisiting recently covered material and introducing key background knowledge for the topic at hand.

Core learning segment – Focusing on the student’s chosen topic, building their understanding and confidence through a range of interactive activities.

Wrap-up – Consolidating the day’s learning and assessing understanding to ensure key concepts are retained.

Availability: Monday to Thursday: 5pm-8pm
Saturday or Sunday mornings 10-12pm.
