I am a medical student at Sheffield University. I have recently done A-Levels and GCSEs so know the curriculum and exam style very well. I achieved full UMS in A-Level Biology and went on to gain entry to 2 medical schools, deciding to go to Sheffield University.

My goal in tutoring is to get my students really excited and interested about Biology/Chemistry by helping them to understand what they are learning. I believe that a love for a subject can be passed on and this drives the students to become motivated and grades come easily with this.

Availability: I am available for online tutoring and tutoring in the S10 area.

Experience: I am good at explaining complex concepts in simple ways. I have a personalised approach for each student, assessing their styles of learning and using those styles to help them to remember and understand the different topics. In each lesson there is the opportunity for the student to bring particular topics that they have looked at in school and haven`t understood. I then help them to break the complex concept into smaller chunks and work through those one at a time. This helps to build confidence in the student for when they are struggling to remember or understand something in the future.
