Matthew

My name is Matthew, I`m a teacher with Mathematics specialism.

I believe that learning is a social activity and that it`s important to provide plenty of opportunities to develop mathematical and problem solving skills through discussion. I feel that this as an essential ingredient for providing fun and memorable learning experiences.

I have an extensive knowledge of ICT, including the use of custom created programs to aid teaching of concepts and support learning.

Availability: I am available from 6pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, but am more flexible during the weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have taught in mainstream schools for 3 years, but have worked in a mixture of school settings before this.

I have completed a PGCE course with a Maths specialism. As well as teaching full classes, my placements have provided opportunities to teach individuals and smaller groups.

I am comfortable tutoring Mathematics to students of all ages ranging from KS2 primary to A-Level.
