A-levels: Biology A* (achieved 100% at A2), Chemistry A* (achieved 91% at A2), Mathematics A



LESSON LAYOUTS:

- Biology (GCSE / A-level):
1) I will aim to cover half of a chapter of theory using half of the time of the lesson
2) The second half of the lesson is used primarily to develop exam technique skills so that the student is familiar with the exam layout and confident enough to answer questions
3) Homework will be given related to the content studied, and will be marked and any problem faced will be dealt with in the next lesson

- Chemistry (GCSE / A-level):
1) I will aim to cover half a chapter of theory using half of the time of the lesson

- UKCAT:
1) I will familiarise the student with a particular question type by introducing the basic concept
2) I will work together with student through a few questions until they are confident enough to answer the questions by themselves
3) I will set some questions for the student to do under timed conditions to develop the time management skills necessary for the UKCAT and then work through them together with the student
4) I will set homework for the student so they can continue to practice, and any difficulties faced will be dealt with in the following lesson

- English: (Primary / KS3 / GCSE)
1) I will familiarise the student with what they can expect in an exam
2) I will provide exam techniques on how to answer specific questions
3) I will work through questions using the techniques I have shared
4) Finally, I will set homework related to the topic we had studied, which I will mark and I will work through any problems the student faced in the next lesson

- Maths (Primary / KS3 / GCSE)
1) I will teach the basic concepts of the topic by working together with the student through a few questions until the student is confident enough to answer questions by themselves
2) I will work through questions which I will provide through online resources as well as maths books that I have
3) I will make my own difficult questions to ensure the student is fully challenged and can be prepared for the worst in an exam situation
4) I will set homework related to the topic we have studied, which I mark and I will also work through any problems the student faced

I specialise in AQA exam board especially for Biology and Chemistry. I have worked alongside AQA examiners to help students to master exam technique.

2015: helped a foreign student achieve a C in GCSE English
2016: tutored an 11+ student for Bancroft School, Ilford County High School and CSSE schools
