I am looking to share my lifelong passion for the Art with those in need of a little help and encouragement, for it is my firm belief that talent in art is not merely a natural gift, but the result of confidence and considerable practice. I am able to provide tuition for students working in all mediums, as I am accomplished at painting, drawing, and photography. I have recent, first hand knowledge of sitting public examinations in the subject. Having consistently attained excellent results in the subject at both GCSE and A Level, I am somewhat of an expert in the exam technique required to translate skill and achievement into top results throughout coursework assignments, portfolios, and final exam pieces. I am currently studying Law, however Art remains my passion, and as thus I frequently produce drawings and paintings, I have recently been exhibited in the Saatchi Gallery, and I have a thorough working knowledge of artists and artworks across the full range of styles and media.

Experience: I am an experienced Art Tutor, having taught students of various age groups, studying for qualifications from several different exam boards. Furthermore I have considerable experience of producing and exhibiting my own artwork, which enables me to approach the teaching of the subject from the perspective of both the student and the examiner. This ensures that I can focus on exam technique and the marker’s rubric whilst without stifling the student’s creativity, which so often is the cause of issues in this particular subject. My law studies have also enhanced my critical thinking, communication, and reasoning skills, all of which are vital for ensuring that the student effectively communicates with the examiner to ensure that all assessment objectives are met, an essential part of achieving deserved results.
