I am a qualified Business & Economics teacher with enhanced DBS, an excellent track record of over 25 years experience in my field, including Head of Department, grade improvement both in the classroom and via tutoring.

I have been teaching GCE A`level business since Sept 2015, while as a former examiner I have invaluable knowledge and experience of how to help you achieve your full potential. I am currently teaching A`level business in a popular independent school in Hertfordshire and am available for limited times for online tutoring only at the moment. On average my regular one to one tuition can add one/two grades to your current grade if you consistently apply yourself.

Experience: I have over 25 years teaching Business and Economics, both in school as head of a successful department in a specialist business & enterprise school, and have been an associate examiner for a popular UK exam board as well as a private teacher and tutor.

I have taught GCSE, GCE, BTEC, Vocational Double Award A level, IB, EPQ and the new A level specifications for a number of boards. Prior to becoming an associate examiner I was commended on the accuracy of our vocational grade marks and standardisation. Where students have followed instructions and completed requested work in their own time I have been able to help them improve their results by on average 2 grades and in some cases 3 or 4 grades.

Not only have I taught my subjects to A level but I have also worked with the IOE and Teach First on their initial teacher training programmes teaching both beginning teachers and NQT`s, essentially teaching teachers!

I currently specialise in teaching Edexcel A level Business in a good independent school but also continue to tutor other students privately in my own time.
