Information about Bethan
I graduated from Cambridge University in English Literature in 2015, and have since worked as a private tutor in English Literature, English Language, Philosophy, Drama and Theatre Studies, Creative Writing and University applications. I am currently studying to an MA in Theatre & Performance.
I am also a playwright and Artistic Director of successful company BRASH which produces theatre in the North East and beyond. I have trained as a writer at National Theatre, Live Theatre, Arvon Foundation, Soho Theatre, and ITV Studios.
I have A*-A Grade A-Levels in Drama and Theatre Studies, English Literature, and Philosophy, and an A Grade AS Level in English Language.
I am hugely passionate about the subjects I teach, and am continually studying myself to hone my knowledge and skills. I`m fun and patient, but will also challenge you as far as I deem appropriate to get the best out of you for your studies.
Availability: I am available any day of the week, in mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have taught English Literature and Language, Philosophy, Drama and Theatre Studies, Creative Writing, University application skills, and some degree tuition to multiple students over the past three years. All of my private students have achieved results well past their predicted grades or general expectations, and this has also resulted in many students/parents referring me to new students via recommendation.
I have taught students from Primary age all the way up to GCSE, A-Level, and degree level.
