I am an experienced, enthusiastic, and patient private tutor. I am an offer holder to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, having completed A levels with top grades at Hills Road Sixth Form College. A keen problem solver, I was invited to the British Physics Olympiad training and selection camp for the international team.

Being able to apply knowledge to solve problems is a crucial part of maths and science - I provide a range of exercises and questions for us to work through together, explaining as we go along and then encouraging you to complete them with more and more independence. This develops technique and understanding as well as knowledge. I am also flexible and will adjust to suit the unique needs of each student. If the preparation is for a specific exam, I strongly believe in the use of past papers and markschemes, which will be closely analysed and followed in order to maximise marks and improve exam technique.

Experience: I have half a year of experience giving private lessons, in addition to participating in the peer mentoring scheme at my college and working at a summer school at Cambridge University as a teaching assistant on a science/English course. Thanks to my tuition, my students have moved into a higher maths set and passed the entrance exams they needed.
