I have exceptional knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and a very strong background in the subject areas I teach. I am exceptionally well-informed about the current education system and know what is expected of students at the various educational levels in the subjects they are learning.

I have a great deal of experience in delivering tailor made programmes for pupils in many different contexts, such as: working towards Common Entrance at both 11+ and 13+; developing pupils looking for scholarships at Senior Schools; focus tutoring for children with SEN; focused tutoring for more able children; and tutoring children who are not currently in a standard school setting.

My Tutoring Approach
I believe education should be fun and exciting where people can learn in a secure environment and be willing to take risks when trying out new ways of learning. Everyone ultimately needs to be encouraged to develop themselves, through self-motivation and reflection on what, how and why they are learning.
As a tutor with a comprehensive educational understanding and pedagogy, I recognise that students learn best when they have more attention to their individual needs and one-on-one learning is adaptable, focused and modified to the individual. I know that all learners should be given an equal opportunity to be successful and have strategies to cope with any obstacles that may arise as they mature and learn in our diverse society.
