I am a qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher, teaching at a local Grammar School. Prior to teaching, I was a Senior Chemical Engineer for almost 20 years.
I offer private tuition in Mathematics at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level. As a tutor I offer a structured learning plan to help you/your child achieve the best possible result.
Not all children require tuition, but if you find that your child is struggling with homework exercises, or you`re noticing a drop in test results/receiving concerned feedback from class teachers, or it may just be that you want your child to have increased confidence in the subject, then private tuition may be the way to go.
Tuition should also be considered in light of the changes to GCSE grade structure from Sept 2015 onwards. There will now be more discrimination on `middle-performers` i.e. the B/C grade band will be split into three bands: Grades 4, 5 and 6.
