I am an outstanding science teacher/tutor with 17 years of classroom and online teaching experience. I am a qualified teacher, AQA examiner and a Specialist Leader of Education training science teachers. I love all things science with a particular love for chemistry.
During lessons I specialise in building confidence alongside exam technique and developing subject knowledge. My lessons are fun, engaging and relevant to everyday life as well as being tailored to achieving and succeeding in exams. Independent work and homework will be set to assess prior knowledge and next steps.

Experience: Over the past 17 years I have taught and tutored science to school-based and home educated students in KS2, KS3, at GCSE and A` Level. At GCSE I have experience teaching AQA, OCR, Edexcel and BTEC science courses and at A` Level AQA, OCR and Salters chemistry specifications. I am an AQA GCSE examiner.
I also currently train science teachers and deliver courses to support improvement in science teaching across Yorkshire.

We’ve been so impressed with the support and encouragement has given our Aisha daughter Charlotte since she started tutoring her in February. Charlotte’s confidence in chemistry has grown significantly over the past few months, and it’s clear how much her understanding and enjoyment of the subject have improved. She has a calm, patient approach and explains things clearly, which has really helped Charlotte feel more comfortable tackling topics she previously found challenging. She always looks forward to her sessions and comes away feeling more positive and motivated each time. A wonderful tutor who has created an immediate rapport with my daughter. Has taken the parts of the syllabus my daughter has struggled with and now she is confident in them. The extra bonus is Aisha`s examiner experience - lessons are structured around answering exam type questions so we are getting both knowledge and exam technique in one. I would highly recommend.
