Ciao a tutti!

My name is Elena and I was born in a small city near Rome but I am currently living in Reading. Before to move to UK, I also lived in Spain for 3 years where I started as a tutor. In fact, I have over 3 years of experience of tutoring to students of all levels and cultural backgrounds.

I have a degree in Biology with a specialisation in Biomedical applications and a master in animal behaviour. I`m currently work as a senior science technician in Bracknell.


I`m looking forward to hearing from you to start our “learning journey” together! I am available for any further information you may need!

Availability: I am available from Monday to Friday starting from 6 pm, contact me for more information.

Experience: I usually plan my lessons and I like to find make them enjoyable. I’d be pleased to know whether you would like to learn of the subject and build the lesson around topics that might interest you.

Italian and Spanish lessons will cover grammar, vocabulary but also reading skills.I believe in the Communicative Method and I really think it is more easy learning new languages if you have a good time doing it. I can also offer conversation classes to improve your speaking ability and pronunciation. Every other lesson, part of the time available will be dedicated to conversation on the topics recently covered, to reinforce the use of vocabulary and grammar and to build confidence and fluency. ‘Learn a new language and get a new soul’. Science lessons will be based on explanation of theory, exercises and practicals if needed, I like to find the best teaching style for students whether it be verbal, visual or audio.
