Information about Josee

I love seeing children figure out the bits they have found difficult. I am enthusiastic and approachable, and aim to make every session fun while being educational too!

Availability: Evenings during the school term, with greater flexibility over half term and end of term holidays.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have experience of working with pupils across the primary age range, as well as with pupils with a wide variety of additional needs. Prior to my teacher training, I worked in support roles with students aged 16+.

We have had 3 session with Josee so far and she has been excellent. She does lots of work prior to the lesson to enable her to focus on the needs of my son. He was not at all keen on having a tutor but does really like Josee and has engaged with her well. She is mainly focusing on English as this is where he is most behind, but she also does some maths with him and in both subjects his confidence is improving.
