I am a fully qualified English Teacher and I have been a Tutor for 5 years. I now specialise in confidence-building alongside teaching English Language & Literature, in partnership with an English Teacher friend.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of watching so many students - from year 7 through to adult learners - thrive and achieve their ambitions with 1:1 tutoring.

August 2021 update: I am currently only tutoring online.

I am up-to-date with the current exam syllabi for English Language and Literature GCSEs and A Levels. I can teach and support with:

• Literacy
• KS3 skills (reading, writing and speaking and listening)
• GCSE
• A level
• University level/UCAS applications

I live in SE21 but now I`m always online our locations don`t matter quite so much! I will provide a safe and comfortable online space for any student, using personalised resources and a professional, nurturing ear.

I currently tutor 1 x KS3 students, 3 x GCSE student and 2 x A-level students, at both state and private schools. I have extensive knowledge of AQA, Edexcel, Edexcel & Cambridge iGCSE at GCSE level and OCR & Edexcel A level exam boards.

My hourly rate is £50 - 70 hour dependent on Key Stage and I am mostly available during the evening from 6pm but do contact me to check any other times or if you have any questions.

- Confidence coach, e.g. Professional Architect who felt `stuck` achieved the promotion and relocation he`d always wanted
- In-depth knowledge of AQA, Edexcel and IGCSE Edexcel exam boards
- Tutor for sixth form students with experience of crafting successful personal statements (ie for English, PPE and Economics).
