I’m a DBS checked maths tutor who only wants what’s best for my tutees. I want to encourage them and see them grow in maths and actually be able to understand why they are doing the rules they apply in maths.
It’s a really joyous moment when I see someone finally have that eureka moment with maths and I’m willing to work as hard as possible for my tutees so they can have those moments in all areas of maths.
I have learned to understand that students have different ways of learning so I offer my first lesson for free to see how I should teach them and how they learn.
Genuinely, I just want to encourage them and give them the skills to enable them to enjoy a hard subject.

Availability: I’m free all weekday evenings after 5.30pm, except for Fridays and I am willing to ride out or do online tutoring.
I’m also free on Saturday mornings and evenings as well, maybe afternoons if this is easier for you but the best way is for us to negotiate the best times for you and I’ll work around that.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I have tutored students before and helped them pass their GCSEs. Their family thanked me as they said they were worried that she wasn’t going to pass and was going to have to retake.
I have experience working with students who are more gifted and who aren’t as gifted and I’m able to adapt my teaching to the requirements of all my students.
