I have been a secondary English teacher since 1994 and have always loved a job that relies on creativity and wanting to help young people, particularly those SEN students who need targeted practice. I have a son with dyslexia and know the difficulties as well as the uniqueness this involves. I have taught in large secondary schools including state and independent sectors. I am currently working in a school as an English specialist, helping students attain their targeted grade by tutoring small groups. I am also working for Pearson Edexcel as an online tutor for disadvantaged students within schools across the country.
I am an expert in how the Edexcel iGCSE Lang. and Lit. are marked with reference to both exam and optional coursework components. I am an expert in AQA and Eduqas specifications, having taught both over the last two academic years.

Availability: I am available all day Monday, Tuesday, Friday and weekends. I am also available in the evenings and school holidays.

I am well practised in assessing the best exam technique for students, helping them manage their time and advising them how to answer a question to maximise the marks. I have trained recently on all the above specifications and know mark schemes and examiners` requirements inside out. I am currently an examiner for AQA and recent examiner for Edexcel.
