Hi! I`m Sofia, I have 6+ years experience tutoring children/teens.

I studied at Wimbledon High and Tiffin Girls` School, both selective, and am therefore extremely knowledgeable about entrance examinations and how to prepare for them.

I achieved 7A*s and 3 9s during my GCSEs, and at A Level, I achieved 3A*s, 2As and 1B (yes I took 6 qualifications!) including, maths, further maths, English and economics.

I now study Economics at the University of Nottingham and have recently completed an Investment Banking summer internship which I will begin full time in just over a year.

Experience: During my 6+ years of experience tutoring, I have worked for tutoring companies teaching large groups of children at a time, but my focus has been on 1-to-1 tutoring privately.

I have tutored children ranging from year 3 - A Level, with most of my students being 11+ examination prep (all of whom were successful getting into their desired school, such as Tiffin Boys).

I am a fun tutor to have and always get on well with the kids and parents, I take the time to get to know the children and tailor the materials and lesson content to what is best for them. I am determined to keep learning fun for children and make the sessions something to look forward to, I do this by simplifying complex problems into easily understandable concepts for the students (teachers at school often over-complicate).

I have tutored in subjects including, chemistry, Spanish, verbal/non-verbal reasoning, maths, English. However, if you need another subject just let me know as I may feel confident tutoring in that as well!
