Ahmed

I am an Engineering (MEng) Graduate from the University of Manchester. I have also completed an MRes in Wind and Marine Energy Systems.

I did my A-Levels at Altrincham Grammar School and was previously at Wirral Grammar School for my GCSEs.


I plan lessons to help students with different academic abilities raise their grades and reach their full potential. I give lessons covering exam technique and help students develop a better understanding of new concepts by communicating in less technical, simplified language.

Experience: I have been a Chemistry tutor for the past 5 years.

I have a passion for teaching sciences and have experience in teaching Maths and Chemistry. I was previously a Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) leader on my course, where I was responsible for facilitating the learning of a group of 8 petroleum engineering students through various activities which helped them become more engaged with their course. I organised activities that promoted effective problem solving, team work and communication, so I am happy to teach a group of students at different levels.
